Erwin Wildhaber

Erwin Wildhaber, the mechanic for the Scott-Swisspower Mountain Bike Team, died in an accident while on a mountain hike on Monday.

Erwin was one of the team who travelled over with Thomas Frischnecht for the 2012 3 Peaks Cyclocross and finished this year's 3 Peaks at his first attempt in 5:46. Thomas Frischknecht was also injured the accident with a broken foot, but is recovering well. 

In an email to John Rawnslay, Thomas Frischnecht said "Glad that Erwin experienced the 3 peaks before he had to go. He was talking about it a lot"
